Andrea’s husband\, an Army intelligence officer\, was captured during the Battle of Hue and held as a POW for five years. Emilee was engaged to Air Force Lt. Jon Reynolds when he was shot down in November 1965. His status was unknown for three years. As a fiancée\, Emilee had no rights and no status.
